You asked for it

Wow what a great response I got from the vote-a-post, or choose your own adventure post or whatever I called it. Ah the memories...so many ideas, four in fact... just up in the air waiting for the people to vote them into existence.

Here are the options again for those who've forgotten or didn't care enough to remember:
A: My cat and photos of my cat
B: Controversial Feminist Rant (which will most likely cause havoc on the comments page again)
C: Second Svet (an exploration into my time as an avatar on various children's websites.
D: Superficial Advertising Orgy (Pretty photos of things I like)

It was a pretty close call between options B and C, although it's hard to say because I have so many smart-arse friends who are deliberately vague in their answers so I didn't count them. HA ha suckers! Where did that get you and all your narcissistic wordiness? Nowhere that's where!

Given the overwhelming "popularity" of options d and c I've decided to do those two, just to piss off the majority. Stick it to the man, fight the power and be all subversive and shit. Hate me yet? You will...

Option C: MY CAT AND PHOTOS OF CAT
Although my cat Mimi is fascinating as she is, I thought I'd better "sex her up" a little for the blog. So I did what any blogger would do, I dressed her in my clothes.
I expected resentment, biting and refusal to sit still but actually she was pretty cool about it. She just had a kind of apathetic, it-will-pass attitude. And as I pointed the camera at her laughing to myself she just glared back as if to say "Yeah, whenever you're done, you fucking git"
Interestingly Mimi didn't want to give my singlet back, she got comfortable in it. After all it's Marcs Baby Doll, you don't give that kind of shit back once you get it.

Option D: SUPERFICIAL ADVERTISING ORGY
Lucy, this one's for you. Because you're the only voter for option D.

I recently found the site fredflare.com while rifling through one of those free, trashy fashion mags. The site is so cool that it was recently awarded the S.O.V.A. for 2007 (Svetian Online Vendoring Award) It's also found its way into my links.

I can't really find anything I dislike from this shop, which is impressive. The layout is also really well done and puts a shopper into a relaxed-give-away-money kind of state.

Here are a few of my favourite things...

Sunset red tote and office fish tank

80's Splatter sunglasses!

(I thought they were more 90's but hey whatever)

There's clothes as well, if novelty fishtanks aren't practical enough for you.

Anyway suckers thats enough for now, who knows maybe next post I'll try writing the most popular choices B and C rather than the most UN-popular. There's an idea that might have won me some friends, oh well.

Ah Fred Flare, so many cool things that I shouldn't buy, but want. Like those sunglasses or the multi coloured Le Tigre hoody I almost bought a while ago until I realised that as bright as it is, I would never be able to pull it off. And now they don't have it anymore. Sadness...

I'm still thinking about buying one of the cameras and I still really want the record player with radio...

Damn shopping urges...

Huzzah!
The photos of Mimi are hilarious because they remind me of that time we tried to put those baby socks on her. She didn't like that much huh?
Anyway, I might just have a look at that Fred Flare site-there is some pretty awesome-ly awesome stuff.
Blah. At 2:50pm I start writing my essay.

Hey thanks Kathi! I just emailed Nick today to ask for your email so I could send you the link to the photos that night. Thanks for coming, it was great to have you there and the presents were terrific.
