Words of Wisdom

Manic Lovely brings you the most curious quotes/wisdom that she's heard lately. Permission was not obtained and real names WILL be used, cos...well just for kicks I guess. Enjoy puppies!

From the fat middle-aged man in my english class with a shiny, red scalp. (I get bored and I fixate on it so I can provide MUCH MUCH more info if you like)...

"Yeah, movies are often harder to understand than books. I mean, sometimes I'm like watching CSI and I'm like, this is just too intelligent for me"

And now from my bud Alex, when she got flustered as I butted into her story and said stuff...
"It was strictly a bacon analogy! Don't make it something it wasn't."

And do you know what 'Chillax' is? I know what you're thinking...like is it over the counter or what? But you junkies can go shove it cos according to Erin it's 'Chill' and 'relax' rolled into one. Is she dyslexic? Does she have a speech problem? Is she going to freak when she finds out I'm publishing this on the net? No one knows.

I don't know if it counts as a quote if you say it when nobody was around and the cat doesn't speak english. Ok I was talking to myself. Whatever. "If you're stupid enough to buy watermelon flavoured yoghurt, then you deserve the consequences!"Thankyooou Yoplait, you sick bastards.

Sebastian, can you tell us what the hell 'rectumfy' means? Yes, it is when you rectify a situation by pulling a solution out of your arse. It's mondo gross in action I can tell you.

And my sweet sweet Shane, you don't have this blog address and that empowers me! Anyway, here's your quote, cheekbone god....
"I'm one of those people who thinks that June and July are the same month"

And here's an awesome one mum came out with, it was the beginning of her anecdote which she decided would be great to announce as we were sitting down to dinner at a family friend's place...
"Leon (thats my little bro) wouldn't stop complaining that his fingers smelled of fish....(yeah then she actually paused for AGES, as i choked on my food)...when he had to hold a vacum-sealed packet of smoked salmon!"

Thats all for now cos I know that Seb gets bored when theres too many words, pesky words! For the personal details of any of the people you've heard from just now then drop me a line.

Sweetie, even though you ripped off my idea, I still love you. Besides, this way my bacon comment will be immortalised forever.

How's tricks?

Did I rip off your idea? Well it wasn't intentional. It's so much easier to use other peoples comedy to beef up your own. Tricks is a little down at the mo, mofo hmmmmm, *little sad sigh*. This is cos I have a GINORMOURS load of essays to do, which is exactly why im sitting here writing on a blog. I told Seb the REAL reason you didn't wanna go to the trivia thing.(ie:cos its a socialist cult meeting) Its best to get these things out now isnt it?

You are being a real pain! Why is that?

Why did you write on Adam's blog that I was "sad" that he wasn't at fricken grogblogging? I didn't say that and now he probably thinks I'm madly in love with him!

Argh, and I WOULD go to the "socialist cult meeting" if you were going. It wasn't your place to tell Seb the "real" reason. Sure, I didn't want people trying to convert me, but I was still prepared to go have a WHOLESOME night out with the entity known as Sweb, cult or no cult.

So, I guess the long and the short of this comment is; stop being an annoying trouble-maker.

I just didn't get why you said you would only go if i did. You NEVER do that, I thought it was a ploy for you to get out of it. BEsides im not going cos i took that work shift.
PS, Adam thinks everyone is madly in love with him.

Svet, hun, what can i say? They are indeed words of wisdom and i will strive to live my life by them from now on. Tell Alex the bacon comment's a keeper. Would have liked to hear more of your own words of wisdom as well tho, i know you've got so many!

Hi LEah! So exciting to "see" you. I miss you alot actually, which is unusual cos i really dont like you very much (hehe)
I wish I could remember some of your words of wisdom, i know theyre definatley there the have just slipped my mind. And Alex can read here that you liked her bacon thingy cos she reads everyone elses blogs without ever updating her OWN! which is annoying cos i like reading hers. Bye pussycat!

hey svet, this blogs a keeper! i agree with leah the bacon comment is a keeper, but i also thought that comment by shane, about june and july being the same months also quite amusing. if i hear any good ones i'll let you know!

I was just reading over my last comment and realised i said 'keeper' twice in two lines, not very original, so please insert another positive adjective there when you read it.

Lucy, even worse than using "keeper" twice in as many lines is that LEAH used it already in this set of comments! Sheesh!

Anyway, Svettle, thought I'd just letcha know that I finally updated, so get off my case, mmmkay?

(By the way, I still love you, Lucy.)
